Barry Hill is a San Diego musician, guitarist and songwriter. He has decades of experience in different bands from bluegrass to hard rock. In the last few years, he has concentrated on personal and evocative songwriting, delivered on acoustic guitar and vocals. Authenticity, emotional honesty and openness are his goals. Last year, he released an album of nine original songs under the title “74”. He is currently recording a second album. He has played at all the San Diego festivals and venues including: Adams Ave Unplugged, Adams Ave Street Fair, Adams Ave Arts Fair, The Ould Sod, South Park Walkabout, Kensington Cafe, Blind Lady Alehouse, The Casbah, House of Blues, San Carlos Summer Concert Series and others. He co-hosts the San Diego Songwriters' Circle with Bonnie Nicholls every second Wednesday of the month. These days, you are likely to see him perform with James Morrison, a wonderful fiddle player.
